Maximum Rocknroll review The Infernal Names 7" in the new issue #350: "Mid paced scum punk, presumably influenced by recurrent alcohol abuse and recreational drug use. This band is from Toledo, Oh, which if you haven't been, is a complete and utter shithole. It seems like bands from such places have more varied influences, so I can understand how these guys developed a sound that melds 80's hardcore with more poppy/surfy type stuff and occasionally features a stoner rock riff. The Infernal Names II strike me as the kind of act the never fits on a bill, yet always winds up being the most talked about band after the show. They have a weird but undeniable appeal that speaks to my ignorant, self-indulgent side .(KM)"

    Razorcake review:
Two more originals from these Toledo miscreants and a Dashburns cover on the flipside. The cover depicts a dude handcuffed to a towel rack, passed out on a toilet with cups of beer and cigarette butts sittin’ next to him. This scuzzy, pissed-off, Flag- and Misfits-worshiping crew play hardcore that sounds like the cover looks. And I mean that as compliment. –Ryan Horky
